Michael is a commercially astute and highly resourceful General Manager and Group CFO of SIDMA S.A., a member of the Viohalco Group of companies, with a wealth of technical expertise and leadership capabilities spanning over 30 years. In his current role as General Manager, Michael drives strategic growth initiatives, oversees operational excellence, and leads cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable business performance. His focus includes shaping corporate strategy, enhancing organizational agility, and fostering innovation to maintain SIDMA’s competitive edge in the steel industry.
His experience covers working for various multinationals in the past, including Vodafone S.A. and the Hellenic Telecommunications Organization. Furthermore, he has a stronghold on Equity Valuation, Financial Modeling, Credit Analysis & Cash Flow Forecasting and business planning models, hence he teaches the aforementioned courses at The American College of Greece (Deree). He is the author of "Financial Forecasting, Analysis and Modelling: A Framework for Long-Term Forecasting" published by Wiley Finance Series in February 2015. Additionally, he takes pride in having several research works published across various business & finance journals.
